Inclusivity and

Accessibility

I believe that science should be inclusive. I am a first-generation college student, and navigating academia was rough. I try to make this practice easier for all young researchers, scientists, product managers, and UX practitioners I come into contact with by being open and making information accessible to people of all backgrounds and abilities. No question is a bad question, as long as it is genuine and helps someone learn.

Open Science

Good science should be open, period. I am working to make sure all of my projects are open and data are publicly available whenever possible.

I believe in sharing code while giving credit to original sources. I believe in sharing teaching materials. Why reinvent the wheel?

Kindness

It takes nothing to be nice to people. You never know what type of day someone had. I try to be as approachable and kind as possible to everyone in my workplace and beyond.
